We just got an e-mail from our reader Chad Raynal, documenting the brakes on the 1976 Dekon Monza, which raced in the same 24 Hours of Le Mans than our Charger. They were not Hurst Airheart's, as we initially thought, but AP Racing 8 piston calipers, as you can see above.
One of our most faithful team friends, namely Francois Breton, just sent us a link to this cool amateur Super 8 film from the 1976 Le Mans 24 Heures. You can see some interesting details of the Olympia Charger, raced there by Doug and Hershel McGriff, as the crew wrenches on it for the race. Turn it up loud and enjoy!
The BOSCH Hockenheim Historics was clearly one of the most fun events of our 2015 racing season. So here are a few more pictures, reflecting the good mood and spirit of the week-end. Our best lap was a 2.04. Yoou can count on us for improving both lap times and racing finishing positions in 2016.
