Thanks to the help of Hervé Guyomard, Le Mans track director, we received a copy of Hershel McGriff's 1976 Le Mans entry form. This form served for checking the Charger at Le Mans, during the famous "Pesage", where the weight of every car is also checked. From this document we learned, among other things, that the Charger did race with a 426 cubic inch V8 engine and that it retired on saturday at 5.05 pm. This confirms part of our past research. In the meantime, Dick Pierson recieved a copy of the 1976 NASCAR brake specifications. With this data and other period relevant documentation, we will now be able to apply for our historical technical passport!
