Hershel's other Dodge Charger at Daytona
Much better known to the general NASCAR fan than the Oly Express, is Hershel McGriff's "Almost Heaven" Dodge.
Sponsored by West Virginia's coal mining association, the Charger was from the Petty stable and crewed by Billie Biscoe. Heshel raced it in the Winston Cup tour in 1974. If you have details like finishing ranks about Hershel in the West Virginia car, please feel free to leave them as a comment below.

Hi Christophe and team.
Just wanted to let you know that there will be a team update appearing in the 'Newsroom' section of the next issue of Vintage Motorsport. Look for it at Barnes and Noble, and other locations that carry a good selection of titles. Also, it was nice to see Hershel with his clean '74 ride, and the link to the site with a history of his career. Loved the piece from Todd on the '76 engines too. Wish I'd had that when I wrote the piece for Mopar Action!
Later folks, Don
