1976 Picture of Dodge Charger at Le Mans

Alain Jourdainne has recently put his private Le Mans photos from 1971 to 1981 on this great Le Mans picture site. Among those is this shot of Hershel McGriff at the wheel of the Charger. Since the car has not yet the outside rearview mirrors, it must be a picture taken during qualifying. The real Le Mans experts among you might be able to identify on which part of the track it was shot.

#1. I'm very puzzle of your replica # 4 Oly Dodge Charger doesn't have the mean looking front grill (with the spaced out 4 regular headlights and the 2 over sized rectangle roadlights)like in the above Alain Jourdainne photo?

Dennis,

A couple of reasons for the difference in headlamps in the new car vs. the old. First, we had a hard time locating some of the older stuff for the car so we tried to keep it as close to the original as possible and still use what we had at our disposal. Second, we were very limited on time when we put the new car together, the car had to be shipped soon after test to make it to France on time to make the race. No time to build a new front bumper insert to house the headlights.

I am not sure if we have the photo of the Torino, I don't think we do. If we had it I'm sure Christophe would get on the site.

Did you go get that exam you talked about Dennis? That is important to do if you haven't already done it.

I read about your Prostate Cancer on this website.
About the same time I was having problems with doing #1, One day doing a lot of fluid and next day, almost nothing, and you know something aren't right with your body.
Is it Kidney Stones or Prostate problems or Prostate Cancer??
Thanks to you I decided to go the doctor to have my prostate exam for prostate problems and prostate cancer, and my kidneys exam for kidney stones.
I found out I have an small grainy kidney stone problem, because I didn't drink a lot of water to counter act my taking (1) 5mg. Ziac fluid pill a day for my high blood presure. I'm now OK with that problem.
I found out I have an prostate problems with doing #1, that could be fixed by taking (1) 0.4 mg Flomax pill in the morning. I'm now OK with that problem.
They didn't find any signs of Prostate Cancer in me, but I'm still going do the yearing Prostate Exams.
