Our competitors: Porsche Carrera RSR 3.0
When Porsche decided in 1974 to upgrade their 3.0 RS into a fire breathing and lightened racing machine, they created the Carrera RSR. With extra light and flared bodywork and a high compression 330 hp 3 litre engine, the Porsche RSR is capable of 180 mph.
The 920 kg are slowed down easily by huge fully vented discs (309 mm in the front, 304 mm in the rear) and 4 pot calipers.

On top of that the RSR has exotic niceties as titanium rods and a
separate transmission oil cooler. The 3.0 RSR will undoubtly be hard to
beat at Le Mans. It will be briven by Le Mans veteran Claude Dubois
and its owner Christian Tahon. We should be able to run with them, but
probably not away from them. But then, again as Chuck Yeager said:"It's
the man, not the machine".
