After our DNF at Le Mans Classic 2008 due to a broken driveshaft, we are very happy to have finished 21st overall and 9th in the GT category at this week-end Nürburgring Classic Endurance Race! Despite a transmission change, we had one of the best races with the Dodge since 2006! See the start in the video above!
Here is more! After chasing Robert Dublers Corvette for 5 laps, I finaly managed to get past him, thanks to a little drafting with Pierre de Thoisy's Chevron B36 on the main straight!
And here is our pitstop with top timing of the mandatory one minute standstill, thanks to the Bergman watch on the steering wheel. OK, I know now that drinks with bubbles are no good as driver refreshment during pit stops...
And here some fun part on how to handle so called mobile chicanes on a racetrack!
And finally, a battle against some machinery that has an easier life than a NASCAR Dodge on a track as the Nürburgring, but we (the Charger and I) made sure that they worked hard enough to pass us with style! See you next time at the track!
