The team at Classic Endurance Racing has just released the 2007 race dates! The Classic races will again be run as an opening event to the LMES racing series.
We intend to be at the following three events:
Monza, Italy - April 13, 14 and 15
Nürburgring, Germany - June 29 and 30, July 1st
Spa, Belgium - August 17, 18 and 19

While we considered various possibilities to race the Oly Express Charger in 2007, in terms of track speed, cost, media interest and fun, the Classic Endurance Racing series emerged as a clear favourite. We plan to enter three of the five races: Spa, Nürburgring and Monza. Practice will be either with the LMES at Paul Ricard track in Le Castellet (F) or at the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans (F). We are looking forward to see y'all at the races!
Thanks to our excellent media coverage, the Oly Express is being looked at by a lot of people. Among those are a couple of pro drivers, who would like to race with us in 2007.

After our great racing at Le Mans Classic, we are all set to be back there in 2008. Now you may ask where we will race in 2007? Well, we give you a chance to help us make that choice. Leave a comment below to tell us where you'd like to see the Oly Express next year!
We had the pleasure and honor to welcome Alain Goupy to our shop. Alain is a former rallye Champion and also raced one of the original Alan Mann prepared Mustangs in vintage racing. He now heads the vintage touring car challenge in France. Alain checked out our Charger, while Robin Donovan took a seat, and gave us quite a few good hints on how to make it even better!
Dick had the pleasure to welcome FIA technical delegate Jeremy Hall for an inspection of our Charger. Jeremy is currently in the USA to check out american racers, that will be going to the Le Mans Classic. Although, he has seen pretty much every race car on this planet, Jeremy was stunned by the sight of our vintage NASCAR Dodge Charger! He gave us some helpfull advice about a few technical details, that will make the job of the scruteneers at Le Mans Classic easier.
Just recently some of you asked me how close our re-creation of the Oly Express will be to the actual car that Doug and Hershel raced at Le Mans. To answer your questions, I want to give you here some insight on the technical specifications. Let me point out that our Charger is build to celebrate the 1976 McGriff entry and is to be raced only at the Le Mans Classic. Therefore two major guidelines govern our build-up:
1. be in accordance to FIA appendix K regulations
2. look exactly as the McGriff Charger did in 1976
