After computing lap times, we tried to put a 4 minutes 40 seconds pace into perspective. It means being as fast as the bulk of Grid 5 (1966-1972) prototypes! Here is how a high 4.40s looks on video aboard a Lola T70 at Le Mans Classic 2004. Now try to imagine such a lap in the Dodge Charger. Not an easy task by all means, as this will demand a lot of driving.
You will probably have noticed that the Oly Express has now two extra lights sitting on its front spoiler. Since we had to remove the inner high beams to route extra fresh air to the brakes in Monza, we had to figure out where to put the now missing lights in order to see good enough at high speed in the Le Mans night.

As for the previous three editions, the organizers of Le Mans Classic have come up with a beautiful color brochure that is more a book than just a flyer. Enclosed is the program of the 2008 edition and the entry forms to apply with an eligible car. As it seems, the level and number of the competitors that want to be at the Classic keeps increasing. Getting an entry is going to be tougher than the previous years!
Even though Le Mans Classic 2008 is still more than 9 month away, Team Oly Express is already busy to be ready for the fourth edition of the greatest vintage race in the World. First, we filed our application. The organizers will pick 400 nominees out of 1600 expected applications for the race!
