Watch out for Ludovic Caron's huge high speed spin in his Shelby Cobra at the end of the video. No wonder that Ford switched to the GT40!

As I was on my fourth lap during the night stint, the driveshaft front yoke let go. We had no replacement, so it was very unfortunate, since that ended our race week-end. You can get an idea of how we felt by clicking on the link here that leads to Dirk Behlau's great prictures. However, we'll be back at Le Mans in 2010.

In an effort to try to let your guys know what to expect at Le Mans Classic, I will outline my experience from 2006. Number one rule: You are participating in the biggest vintage car racing dog and pony show in the world: enjoy it and have fun as the French people do! First will be the party at Chiron on Wednesday July 9, that will be a fans, media and sponsors get together. In 2006 there was about 175 people at Chiron, which is located in northern Le Mans, to witness the unveiling of the Charger.

Well, I know that NASCAR Winston Cup cars are not supposed to be run in the rain, but that was just the way it was during our testing day in the Ardennes. The great advantage of Rocroi's former airstrip is that the only neighbours that the HEMIs bellow will disturb are the razobacks and deers in the surrounding woods.
